This Ryobi 40V backpack blower is from the HP Brushless Whisper Series, rated at 165 MPH and 730 CFM, and it comes as a kit with two 6.0 Ah batteries and a Rapid Charger. It suits big leaf cleanups on a large lot, church grounds or a small mowing route, with straps that put the weight on your back.

Brand: Ryobi
Platform: 40V HP brushless, Whisper Series
Output: 165 MPH, 730 CFM
Noise: 59 dB (maker’s figure)
Includes: 2 x 6.0 Ah batteries, Rapid Charger
Controls: variable speed trigger, cruise control, turbo button, speed tip

It came in on a retailer return and overstock load, so it can be new, open-box or a customer return, the box can be beat up, and it’s sold as-is. Kits are where returns go wrong: a battery, the charger or the speed tip can be missing, so count everything when you unbox and make sure both batteries charge. Email [email protected] and ask us to check the kit is complete before you buy.

The kit is $259.99, or $274.98 delivered to any of the 50 states, which is $12.99 per order plus $2 an item. Pickup is free from our dock in Dalton, GA by appointment, 8 am to 5 pm Eastern on weekdays; choose “Buyer Arranged Freight / Local Pickup”. More cordless yard tools and outdoor singles are here. At $259.99, it clears our $200 single-item minimum on its own.

Items can also be returned within 7 days of delivery or pickup for a 10 percent restocking fee: unopened for any reason, with you paying the return shipping, or opened if it isn’t what you ordered, with us paying the return shipping.
