For pulling, stretching and holding loads by hand, the Maasdam web strap puller (Pow’R Pull WS-1) is rated at 1 ton and runs 12 ft of web strap through a ratchet. Keep it behind the seat of a farm truck, in a shed for fence and post work, or in a trailer kit.

Brand: Maasdam
Model: Pow’R Pull WS-1
Capacity: 1 ton
Strap: 12 ft web strap
Ratchet wheel: aluminum alloy
Hooks: safety latches

Maasdam lists a notch-at-a-time let-down, so you release tension in steps, plus a non-slip plastic grip.

It came in on a retailer return or overstock load, so it may be new, open-box or a return, the packaging may be tired, and it’s sold as-is. On a used puller the strap is the first thing to inspect: look for cuts, fraying or stitching coming loose, and make sure both hook latches snap shut and the pawl catches the ratchet wheel. Email [email protected] for a closer look before you buy.
