Big rooms need a big unit, and this Frigidaire 15,000 BTU air conditioner is listed for spaces up to 850 sq. ft. It runs on 115 volts and has a slide-out chassis, so the cooling unit slides out of its outer sleeve for installation. Think open-plan living rooms, a large shop office or a finished bonus room.

Brand: Frigidaire
Cooling: 15,000 BTU, up to 850 sq. ft.
Power: 115 volts
Controls: Ready-Select electronic with temperature readout
Includes: temperature-sensing remote, washable filter
Rating: Energy Star

The maker also lists a multi-speed fan, 6-way air direction and a low-power start-up.

It’s liquidation stock, out of retailer return and overstock loads. Without a stated condition it might be new, open-box or a customer return in worn packaging, and it’s sold as-is. Check that the remote is there, since it’s the first thing to go missing from a returned AC, and ask about bent fins on the coil. Email [email protected] with any question.
