This policy explains what personal information Dalton Liquidation collects when you use daltonliquidation.com or buy from us, how we use it and who we share it with. Last updated: September 29, 2026.
Who we are
Dalton Liquidation is a liquidation warehouse in Dalton, GA that sells pallets, truckloads and single items at daltonliquidation.com. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, the items you buy, the delivery option you choose and any order notes.
- When you create an account: your name, email address and password, plus any reseller certificate or business details you upload to buy tax-exempt.
- When you contact us: what you send us by email, text or WhatsApp, such as questions, photos for a damage claim and your phone number.
- When you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, which our hosting and security services log automatically. With each order, WooCommerce also records how you arrived at the site, for example from a search engine or a link.
Payments
We don’t take card payments on this website. You pay by wire transfer, Zelle, Apple Pay, Cash App or Chime after you place your order, and we send payment details by email, text or WhatsApp. We never see or store your bank login or app password. We keep a record of each payment (amount, date, method and sender name) for our accounts. The payment service you use handles your payment under its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To process your order, arrange payment, and ship it or book your dock pickup.
- To contact you about your order, a return, a damage claim or a question you asked.
- To check reseller certificates and apply tax exemptions.
- To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
- To keep the tax and accounting records the law requires.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t send marketing emails unless you ask to hear from us.
Who we share it with
- Freight carriers and delivery services: your name, phone number and delivery address, so they can deliver your order and book a delivery time.
- Website services: our web host and our security and content-delivery provider process visit data to run and protect the site. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Authorities: when the law requires it, or to deal with fraud.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep items in your cart, keep you signed in to your account, remember how you arrived at the site for your order record, and protect the site from abuse. We don’t use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout won’t work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep your account until you ask us to close it. Messages about an order are kept while the order, a return or a claim is open, and for a reasonable time after.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, except records we have to keep by law. Email [email protected] from the address on your account or order, and we will reply within 30 days. You can also update your details yourself in My account.
Security and age
The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and account passwords are stored scrambled, not in plain text. No website is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and never share it. You must be 18 or over to buy from us, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also our refund and returns policy and our scam alert.
