3M Filtrete 20x25x4 Allergen Reduction Air Filter

Got a whole-house air cleaner that takes a 4 in. deep filter? This 3M Filtrete 20x25x4 air filter is the allergen reduction version, an electrostatic pleated filter in that size. It fits the media cabinet in a basement or utility closet, not a standard 1 in. return-vent slot.

• Brand: 3M Filtrete
• Size: 20x25x4
• Type: electrostatic pleated, allergen reduction
• Fits: air cleaners from Aprilaire, Honeywell and Trion that use this size, per the maker

3M rates it for dust mite debris, mold spores and pollen and lists a service life of up to a year. Check your old filter’s label to be sure the size matches.

It’s liquidation stock from retailer return and overstock loads, which can be new, open-box or a customer return with a worn box, sold as-is. Deep filters get damaged when the carton is crushed, so check the frame is square and the pleats aren’t flattened or torn. Before buying, you can ask [email protected] about condition.
