Shipping one liquidation pallet from our Dalton, GA dock costs a flat $25 to $85, set by the region you ship to, and a full truckload costs $1,000 to $5,500. Those are the standard freight rates at our checkout as of September 29, 2026, and they apply to lots you buy from us, not to pallets you ship yourself.
For comparison, FreightCenter’s pallet shipping page lists domestic LTL pallet shipping at $150 to $300 a pallet, depending on weight and distance (checked September 29, 2026). That is the range to expect if you book a pallet with a freight broker on your own.

What adds to the freight bill
The flat rate assumes a delivery address with a loading dock or a forklift, because the driver can’t unload a pallet by hand. Three add-ons change the total, and all of them show at checkout before you order:
- Liftgate delivery, where the truck lowers the pallet to the ground: $65.
- Residential delivery with a liftgate: $160.
- A limited-access address such as a storage unit, school or military base: $50.
Single items ship at $12.99 plus $2 per item. Dock pickup in Dalton is free, by appointment.
How much of the landed cost is freight?
On a cheap pallet, freight is a big share of what you pay. On a truckload, the distance matters more than the load. These are real lots from our liquidation pallets and truckloads pages, priced on September 29, 2026, with standard freight:
| Lot | Lot price | Freight | Landed cost | Freight share |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Crocs pallet, to California | $250 | $85 | $335 | 25% |
| AirPods pallet, 80 units, to Georgia | $350 | $25 | $375 | 7% |
| AirPods pallet, 80 units, to Washington | $350 | $85 | $435 | 20% |
| Amazon general merchandise truckload, 24 gaylord pallets, to Florida | $6,500 | $1,000 | $7,500 | 13% |
| Amazon general merchandise truckload, 24 gaylord pallets, to Arizona | $6,500 | $5,500 | $12,000 | 46% |
The AirPods pallet works out to $4.69 a unit landed in Georgia and $5.44 in Washington. The same truckload costs $312.50 a pallet landed in Florida and $500 a pallet in Arizona. Work out your landed cost per unit before you pick a lot; the lot price alone hides the difference. Unit counts are approximate on unmanifested lots, which our liquidation manifest guide explains.
Where freight goes wrong
- No dock and no liftgate. If the order goes to a home or a shop without a dock and you didn’t choose liftgate delivery, the driver can’t take the pallet off the truck.
- Damage signed away. Freight damage has to be written on the driver’s receipt before you sign. Under our refund policy, a pallet that arrives 30 percent or more damaged is refunded for the damaged share if you report it within 48 hours with photos; freight isn’t refunded.
- Returning a lot you changed your mind on costs freight twice. Unopened, still-wrapped orders can be returned within 7 days, but you pay the return freight and a 10 percent restocking fee. If a lot isn’t what you ordered, we pay the return freight instead; the 10 percent fee still applies.
- Alaska and Hawaii. There’s no flat rate; we quote after the order.
When dock pickup beats freight
Pickup saves the freight line entirely, so it makes the most sense on truckloads to distant states or when you’re already driving through north Georgia. Choose Buyer Arranged Freight / Local Pickup at checkout and we contact you to book a dock time, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Eastern. Orders need to be collected within 5 business days. Single pallets ship like any other order, so pickup is a choice, never a requirement. The rest of our freight and pickup answers are in the FAQ, and the full buying process is in our guide to where to buy liquidation pallets.
